Setting up the API

For most mods, Skinveil should be added as an optional dependency rather than a required dependency.

The primary way to add Skinveil on your project is to add the Modrinth's maven repository.

⚠️ The project isn't approved on Modrinth yet, so download the jar file from Curseforge and use that for now instead. Or wait for the Modrinth's approval.

In build.gradle:

repositories {
	// ...
    exclusiveContent {
        forRepository {
            maven {
                name = "Modrinth"
                url = "https://api.modrinth.com/maven"
            }
        }
        filter {
            includeGroup "maven.modrinth"
        }
    }
}

dependencies {
	// ...
    compileOnly "maven.modrinth:42ObjccB:<version-id>"
}

Replace the <version-id> with the appropriate version id for your project.

You may also want to declare skinveil as an optional dependency in your fabric.mod.json:

	"skinveil": ">=1.0"
