Mod Menu
SSCL provides optional Mod Menu integration for mods using SSCL configs.
No Mod Menu dependency is required by the consuming mod itself. SSCL handles the config screen.
Multiple Configs
A mod can register multiple SSCL configs.
For example:
public static final Config CLIENT_CONFIG = SSCL.create(
MOD_ID,
"MyMod/client.toml",
ConfigSide.CLIENT
);
public static final Config SERVER_CONFIG = SSCL.create(
MOD_ID,
"MyMod/server.toml",
ConfigSide.SERVER
);
public static final Config COMMON_CONFIG = SSCL.create(
MOD_ID,
"MyMod/common.toml",
ConfigSide.COMMON
);
Mod Menu groups configs belonging to the same mod together.
When there is more than one config, the SSCL config screen displays tabs:
Client | Server | Common
The tab names come from the config side.
Config Tabs
Only the currently selected config is displayed.
Switching tabs keeps the config values in memory. Editable values are saved when the screen is closed.
The Reset to Defaults button only resets the currently selected config.
Server Configs
SERVER configs have special behavior.
Main Menu
The server config is editable.
Singleplayer
The server config is editable because the server is local.
Dedicated / Remote Server
The server config is displayed but disabled. The client does not interact with the remote server's config.
